The Dr. Mehrdad Shafa Medical Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organized exclusively for educational purposes under section 501(c)3 Internal Revenue Code and is a public charity.
Tuition and Expenses
Funding for students
Funding provided by the foundation will help students afford tuition, books, and other education associated expenses as they pursue education and a career in the health sciences. Funding may not be used for room and board, food, travel, clerical expenses.

Ayla Zustra graduated May 2022 from ASU where she was majoring in BioGenetics.
Jennifer Sanchez MSMSF Graduate
Jennifer Sanchez graduated with honors May 2021 from both Phoenix College of Nursing and NAU receiving her BSN in nursing and has since passed her Arizona State Board of Nursing Exam. She is currently employed full-time with the Maricopa County Health Department. NAU recognized those grads May 2022 by inviting them to “Walk” their commencement this year due to COVID.
